Step by step...

And so it happened! The weekend past very fast...With a pre-meeting that started on Thursday, a long discussion of the sessions and some small cultural shocks regarding the AIESEC culture, we head for Mons on Friday to deliver the one and only Outgoing Preparation Seminar!!!

Delegates from France and Belgium were sharing one hostel for 2 1/2 days in Mons, a small city only 1 hour from Brussels.

The conference…
With some logistic issues, some communication challenges (my French is not that good:)), this OPS proved to be an OK event according to the delegates’ feedback..
Could have been better? Of course, but if it’s to take in consideration all the challenges we encountered, I guess the outcome was quite good..

People with different knowledge regarding AIESEC, different personalities, skills and dreams gathered at this conference…It was a great bunch of people who gave me the energy to pass every day with a smile on my face …

The parties
Well…some things can be said here…I never thought that the kissing competition has such a big impact in the Belgian and French culture...and if you also add the fact that my wonderful faci team put me on the list with 50 000 points…I can definitely say I felt hunted during the party on Saturday!:)..But it was fun!!

Me as a chair…
Hmm..what can I say? Well, I have no voice now, I dropped dead when I arrived home on Sunday..but I enjoyed the experience a lot!!!
Definitely I saw a vast improvement in my performance comparing with my first chairing experience, but I’ve also discovered my weak point which hopefully will help in my future career in chairing :):) (just kidding, no worries)

Lots of pictures are proof of my presence at this conference..but unfortunately I still don’t have them…As soon as they will get in my possession in promise some snapshots from my second chairing experience:)
