24 and counting...
Ok..so I am 24 now..
My bday passed very fast, but I couldn't let it go without posting about all the surprises that I received from my friends:)..So, here it goes, the entire story!:)
Because on Monday( on my bday) I had to go to Jupille because of work, I didn't have the chance to meet with my friends. But this didn't stop the emails with congratulations to come..so thank you guys!!!
On Sunday, after midnight my dear friend Mo send me an SMS from India to wish me Happy Bday!..Bebe..miss you:)
Monday, I woke up to check my email and saw the email from my parents in which they actually wrote the entire lyrics from the Happy Bday song( in romanian)..I love you guys!
Also, after a nice bday card send by Georgi (also one of my closest friend) she did this amazing thing..she taped herself and Oana (aka Baby) singing happy birthday in Romanian and send the message as a voice mail...it was so niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! My dears, you made my day!
And now we are back in Leuven..After an "intense day", all I wanted to do was take a shower, eat smth and go out for a drink (as we already planned that)..Olga, who was with me in Jupille, convinced me to have the shower before the dinner..the excuse: it would make me feel better..What I didn't know was that the trainees from Leuven planned to surprise me:)
So, at 7:30 they came to my house with a bday cake and and presents and sang Happy birthday!..I was really impressed...It really brought the smile back on my face after the day I had at work..
At the drink, my boss also showed up to wish me happy birthday..and although I hate him for sending me to jupille on my bday I can't say I don;t appreciate his gesture..
And Tuesday came..which means another day, a day when I don't have a birthday, but still a day with more surprises...
Came back from work in the evening to find out on the floor a note from my neighbor wishing me happy birthday!( he heard my friends in the previous night when they were singing). I thought that's such a nice thing to do, and of course I went to thank him ..which gave me also the chance to exchange more sentences except :" Hi, do you have hot water?"
And the present I did to myself..Friday off:):):) Yipeee..I had so much fun today shopping and spending money (now I am almost broke, but who cares?)..
24 and 4 days..and counting..
